Alone

Alone is a short film and personal visual interpretation of Rainer Maria Rilke’s poem “I Am Much Too Alone in This World, Yet Not Alone.” The film explores the feeling of loneliness through my own perspective, following a solitary character through the streets of Sarajevo.

The city, its streets, spaces, and small visual motifs become part of the character’s emotional world, translating the atmosphere and themes of the poem into moving images. Rather than directly illustrating the poem, the film interprets its sense of solitude, distance, and inner reflection through cinematic imagery and atmosphere.
