Dinner for One

Dinner for One is a conceptual photography project exploring loneliness and solitude through the familiar ritual of dining alone. Set deep within the quiet woods, a solitary figure repeatedly returns to a table that is always prepared, but never shared. The forest becomes a silent setting that reflects the subject’s inner emotional state, creating a sense of isolation, stillness, and introspection.

Through muted tones, empty spaces, and the contrast between a carefully set table and the absence of another person, the series explores the relationship between loneliness and solitude. Rather than presenting loneliness purely as something negative, the project leaves room for it to be understood as a quiet confrontation with oneself - a space where absence, memory, and self-reflection can coexist.
